What is Private worlds?
Private worlds is a recent addition in conjunction with Multiworlds which allows the player to create their own world.
Private world creation
To create a private world, you login to the game then on the select world page click on create private world. You will now be facing a choice between the entire world, selected continents or any countries which have above 50 gates. After you have chosen which type of world geography you would like, you will be presented with a map selection page. Depending on the continents you have chosen, you will be presented with a list of the worlds you have available. If for example you choose 'South America, Asia and Australiasia', you will get a selection with only them. Under the 'Minimum gates' column there will be numbers. These numbers denoted which type and how many airports will be in the world. If for example it says 101 gates, it means any airports with above or including 101 gates will be present in the game. You will now presented with the following page:
On this page you can choose the specifications of your world. Everything here is just about self explanatory, but if you have any issues please don't hesitate to post in the forum. After you have chosen the specifications of the world, you can calculate the cost in tokens by clicking on the 'Calculate Cost' tab. At the stage you still haven't created the world, so don't panic! You can still modify the specifications of the world and then re-calculate the cost of tokens however times you wish without charge. After you have selected the specifications and are happy with the outcome, you may create the world. You will need to enter your airline details just like you would when you join a game created world. After that you may need to enter the password of the world again to enter the world only if you chose the option to include a password in your world. When you have created the world, you have 24 hours to create/edit routes before the game starts.
Advantages of Private worlds
- The ability to create your own world to your own specifications (no more posts requesting a year 2000 onwards round ;) ) - The ability to play against your own friends in your own private world
